Two other companies looked at my ceiling stain and quoted a full roof. These guys went in the attic, found a cracked pipe boot, replaced it for a couple hundred dollars and showed me the old one. Roof is nine years old and they told me straight it has years left.

The proposal actually listed the nail count, the drip edge gauge and the wind class. Nobody else who came out gave me anything but a shingle brand and a price. Walked the whole perimeter with me at the end so I could see the rake starter.

Called them about coating our low-slope office roof and they told us the fasteners at the edge had backed out and a coating would just hide it. Fixed the edge, did the coating a month later, and gave us the thickness readings in writing.
